The reference platform for hands-on cybersecurity training
Cybersecurity education, accessible to everyone.

You know they only really learn by doing. Getting them there is the hard part.
Students remember the labs, not your slides. But standing up machines, keeping them alive and following 30 people at once (sometimes 50, we feel for you) takes time you do not have, so the hands-on part keeps slipping.
The lab never gets built
Standing up machines, networks and vulnerable environments costs real time and expertise. So the course stays theoretical, and the same worksheets go round year after year, already seen and shared between cohorts.
Keeping it alive eats your week
When a lab does exist, it breaks. You spend the session fixing setups and chasing installs instead of teaching, and you're the only one who can.
You can't see who's falling behind
Levels swing from student to student. Without a shared baseline, the most fragile drop off quietly, and following thirty people one by one is impossible until it's too late.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get started?
You can have your first students in the Arena within 24 hours. We handle all the setup.
Do students need to install anything?
No. The Arena runs entirely in the browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing for your IT department to approve.
Do I need technical skills to start?
No prerequisites needed. Aktræn's onboarding guides you step by step into the Arena. You start from zero and build real skills through progressive, gamified missions.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on the number of simultaneous students. You only pay for the seats active at the same time, not for your whole roster.
Can we try it with a pilot?
Yes, and we even encourage it! The Aktræn team fully supports you throughout a complete course. If you decide to continue, the pilot price is deducted from your subscription.
Aktræn, but how do you pronounce that?
"Hack train". Now you know.
What makes it different from HackTheBox, TryHackMe and the like?
Rather than pre-built labs, here the teacher stays in charge of their course. Aktræn is a sandbox for every cyber idea: a complete playground for all your experiments, fully adapted to teaching directly in the classroom.
